Our friends over at Benchrite have pretty much created the pinnacle of case turning motors. The Benchrite Case Prep Lathe will cut your time spent turning necks in half and is our prefered method to use with our Micro-Adjust Case Trimmer. The 1/20 HP motor turns your brass at 181rpm with minimal runout and plenty of torque.

Case Prep Lathe
I finally moved from a corded drill to the Benchrite Case Prep Lathe and used it on the latest batch of 100 cases. What a difference! I also use the PMA Model A Turning tool with carbide mandrel and PMA lube for best results. The lathe speed is perfect and the weight makes it a stable platform to hold and slowly push the turning tool in and back out slowly with float for a fine finish. This lathe makes neck turning so much more enjoyable and the results very consistent.

Nice turning tool
The motor turns at a nice RPM for turning necks. I have enjoyed turning my necks so much better than a power drill. Thanks PMA for the great service.
