Description
These Deluxe Barrel Vises are made by our friend Bob "The Viper" Pastor. Machined from 6061 aluminum and finished with a durable, baked on, non-slip powdercoat, these deluxe barrel vises feature the usual hardened bolts and nuts along with fully captured return spings. The return springs prevent the top of the vise from flopping around, making inserting and removing barrels from the vise much quicker and easier. This feature along with the powdercoat finish protects the finish of your barrels from scratches and most importantly protects the crown of the muzzle. You will not find a higher quality barrel vise with these features anywhere.

Viper, no snake bites here
Looks great, bolted to a section of 2x2 tubing so I can use a receiver hitch to hold it. Installed a prefit shouldered barrel to my Atlas action. Used the toilet roll center. Hand tightened, then with the proper action wrench gave it a couple gunts. Good to go. Frank

Easy to use and works well.
I bought this to do my first barrel swap for my savage. Worked well took my about an hour or so(could have done it faster but re-did the headspace a few times, didn't mar either barrel used blue painters tape. May still use old barrel but doubt it as have another 300 win mag.

Viper Barrel Vise
Very well built barrel vise. Powder coating is beautiful, hated to use it for fear of scuffing it up. Worked great. It will be a valuable addition to my work bench. Recommend it highly.

Appears well made and it is cost-effective
Although I have not used the device, it appears well made and like it will perform admirably. Still awaiting my barrels from the gunsmith, but it sure loooks impressive sitting on my workbench!

Viper Vise is awesome
Rebarreled my Savage 12fv and vise worked great. My first rebarrel ever. Wrapped single layer from toilet paper tube around barrel. Torqued 4 bolts evenly to 40 ft lbs. Barrel broke free quite easily. Love this thing.
