PMA Gen II Barrel Vise

Built like a tank! This is the last barrel vise you will ever purchase because it is the very highest of quality and will last a lifetime+! Makes quick work of the removal/installation process.

Worked great and on the first time on a factory Savage 110 action and barrel.

Wrapped my barrel in a shop towel, torqued to 35ftlbs, and zero slip! Wonderful product and a fair price!

ok, this is a very nice barrel vise. highly recommended. it looks small in the picture but once you get it you realize how beefy it actually is. made changing out a barrel on my RPR super easy, and will serve as a great tool for many years and barrel changes ahead.

Had a Davidson vise Many years ago that worked well. This one though surpasses the Davidson is quality and functionality.

Used the vise to remove a Remington 700 factory barrel from the 1970's. Used Kroil for a few days. The vise worked well and barrel came off with no problems. I recommend the vise with no reservations.

Seems well-made but basic, and it binds badly when moving in the vertical axis. Had higher hopes for it. Cannot recommend at all due to the binding. (PMA note: When using any 4 bolt barrel vise, the nuts need to be tightened similarly to the lug nuts on a car or truck tire. Binding will happen if nuts are not tightened in diagonally opposite order)
