Description
Some shooters and gunsmiths really prefer to use a torque wrench when installing barrels because they want to maintain the exact same headspace each time they swap a barrel back. For those who prefer to use a torque wrench we offer hex end action wrenches. We manufacture ours from stainless steel because we prefer to use a material that is rust resistant, strong, and most importantly, softer than the actions and barrels we are fitting together.
Our Hex Style Action Wrenches feature a 5/8" hex which allows installation of barrels while the action is still in most stocks. This is important to those who have "glue-ins" and like the security of torquing their barrels. We recommend the use of a non-ratcheting (low-profile) torque wrench if installing barrels with the action in the stock.
Works for Remington Actions. Right or Left Handed.
Will also work in most Kelbly,Borden, some Defiance, and a multitude of others. Warning: will feel a little sloppy in custom actions listed.

Solid
Very solid & well executed design. I bought it to work with my multiple Remington 700's since I plan to rebarrel 2 of them eventually. I also wanted to see if it would work on a Mosin Nagant action since I have one around that wants to become functional some day. Fits the Remington actions perfectly, but I'll have to turn down the shank some to fit the Nagant action. Turning it down some is definitely better than having to make it from scratch, especially since it will take care of my Remingtons too. Very pleased.

Fit Kelbly Perfectly
I set my new barrel and caliber in my Kelbly with my standard torque wrench to 100 ft/lbs. Much easier than using Wheeler action wrench where I have to remove picatinny rail to fit.

Bought the rem action wrench and it didn't want to fit in. I was worried about scratching the product where they would not want to take it back. Before mailing it for return I gave them a call and for being dumb we had a good laugh. You might have to hit the bolt release for it to go in. After that it worked like a breeze. I put the part of a good laugh in this review because they never made me feel stupid and were willing to walk me thro absolutely everything without feeling rushed off the phone. For anyone like me who is getting into these aspects of the gun world its really nice to find a company who is whiling to take the time and explain things to you while making it a great experience and not feeling dumb. Along with saying don't worry we will overnight another product to you we want you to be happy. Once again showing me as a customer that my business is wanted there. I will recommend people over here every chance I get hands down absolutely great product and customer service.
