Description
Used in our Model A Neck Turning Tool, these stainless steel Neck Turning Mandrels are sized to work in conjunction with PMA Expanding Mandrels. Our mandrels are also properly sized to work with expander mandrels from Sinclair and will work with all neck turning tools that accept 3/8” shank turning mandrels.
Most importantly, our stainless mandrels are precision turned from 17-4 stainless steel, the same grade of stainless used in the medical and aerospace industries. A 17-4 stainless mandrel offers the best combination of properties available in a stainless steel: strength, hardness and corrosion resistance. These properties combine to give you a stable mandrel that will not change dimension with heat and will not scratch or embed grit.

25 cal neck turning mandrel
Well made part that pairs well with the neck turning tool. Easy installation and lock in. Helped produce extremely good results.

Waited too long!!
I used another turner that wasn't as, "refined" for years. It served it's purpose but, then I had a 2nd semi-custom rifle put together. Most of the cost went into the barrel. At this point I could see that my old turner wasn't up to, "par". It was hard to adjust and only a very small portion of the blade cut into the brass. I finally fell for all the great reviews on shooting sites about this product. Words can not describe the effectiveness and smoothness of the PMA Turner. So very easy to adjust and it keeps it's adjustment! Buy one! It will be one of the best investments you'll make for your loading table.
