Pro Shot 27-30cal x 42" Stainless Cleaning Rod

One of the all-time continuing shooter debates is over the use of stainless steel or coated cleaning rods. We think either works just fine if a good rod guide is used every time the rifle is cleaned. One advantage to stainless steel rods is that they can be a little thicker (heavier and straighter) than coated rods for the same caliber. These Pro Shot Stainless Steel Rods have a lot of really good features; we see a lot of them in use at benchrest matches and we sell quite a few of them. The stainless rod itself is micro-polished and centerless ground to give it an extremely hard, mirror-like, non-embedding surface. The anodized handle is comfortable, durable and spins very well. Rod tips are threaded directly and straight with a standard 8-32 female thread (no adapter needed).
